‘Starmer has turned UK upside down’: Elon Musk, others react as Starmer’s approval rating collapses

Social media users have continued to react differently to the report of an unprecedented decline in the approval ratings of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Labour Party, Keir Starmer.

According to a net approval rating reposted by X owner, Elon Musk on Thursday, the rating of the UK leader, once soaring to +11 during the peak of his electoral campaign earlier this year, has plummeted to an alarming -38 in October.

Tribune Online reports that Starmer emerged as UK Prime Minister after the Labour Party won the July 2024 general election in the country.

The dramatic downturn has left many questioning the trajectory of Labour under Starmer’s leadership. For some, it reflects a disconnect between his policies and the priorities of the British electorate.

Reacting to the rating, Elon Musk stated that all the established political parties in the UK will be defeated in the next election in the country.

He wrote, “All establishment parties in the UK will get crushed in the next election.”

Supporting Musk’s point of view, @WallStreetApes tweeted, “If the Establishment Parties don’t get absolutely landslide destroyed in the next UK election you’ll know it’s rigged. There is zero chance people are voting to be flooded with illegal migrants and serve 15 years in prison for viewing ‘misinformation.’”

One critic, @CMNSx2, tweeted, “Starmer has turned the UK upside down. Thanks to Elon we get the truth on X. Without X, where would we get our news from?”

Another user, @ValentinaForUSA, wrote, @“Keir_Starmer your time is almost up. You’ve done nothing but protect rapists and criminals while locking up people that disagree with your immigration policies.”

@ArgishtiTeslax added, “This chart speaks volumes—when empty promises meet reality, trust collapses. The era of political complacency is over! People demand transparency, accountability, and real change. If establishment parties can’t deliver, they will be swept aside. Bold leadership is the only way forward. Elon Musk is right—it’s time to dismantle the old system and build a future that works for the people!”
