Day in day out, new artistes are springing up in Nigeria. Everyone is looking for their path. New Stanzee Records signee, Bamidele appears different and ready to take the Nigerian music scene by storm. His first single, ‘Laye’ is a testament of this fact.
The young artiste recorded his first track as far back in 2006 at Micky Me studios, a period where he devoted his time experimenting with music, creating different sounds that are peculiar to him and lovable to Nigerians. This effort was rewarded when his talent deservedly got him Stanzee records endorsement and a contract as well. His first single, Laye which is a fusion of afro-pop and afro-highlife, was produced by Milla Rankz.
The uniquely gifted entertainer has earned rave reviews for his charisma, lyrical quality and ingenious artistic elements in his music as depicted in the eye-catching video for his debut single shot by Matt Max on a location in Lagos. While it is his undeniable talent that has put him firmly in the spotlight in 2017, it is certain that there is more to come from the young crooner in the coming years as the industry looks forward to the birth of another star in the nearest future.
The music industry has never been short of talent and it takes a lot more than a good voice for any artiste in this dispensation to rise above the competition. Bamidele is, however, gunning for greatness as he combines good voice, dashing look and great management in Stanzee Records,” a record company ready to push the brand to the biggest heights while helping him achieve his dreams.
Hundeyin Bamidele was born in Badagry, but he honed his musical and artistic craft on the streets of Ajegunle, Lagos. The young man is ready to light stages and imprint his name on the music scene as one of the greatest.
