Stanbic IBTC, International Breweries add to shares volume

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has added an additional volume of 49,465,731 ordinary shares of 50k each of Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc which were listed on the Daily Official List of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday.

In the same vein, International Breweries Plc, listed additional 5.3 billion ordinary shares on the Nigerian bourse.

Stanbic’s additional shares arose as a result of the Scrip Dividend Scheme offered to eligible shareholders of the company who elected to receive new ordinary shares in lieu of cash dividends with respect to the 5 kobo final dividend declared for the year ended 31 December 2016, as well as the 60 kobo interim dividend declared for the period ended 30 June 2017.

With this listing of 49,465,731 ordinary shares, the total issued and fully paid up shares of Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has now increased from 10,000,000,000 to 10,049,465,731 ordinary shares.

For International Breweries, the additional shares arose from the scheme of merger involving International Breweries Plc, Intafact Beverages Limited and Pabod Breweries Limited.

This listing has now increased the total number of shares of the firm to has now increased to 8.6 billion shares from 3.3 billion shares.

“Dealing members are hereby notified that 5,301,612,656 ordinary shares of International Breweries Plc (International Breweries) were today, December 14, 2017 listed on the daily official list of the NSE.

“The additional shares listed arose from the scheme of merger involving International Breweries Plc, Intafact Beverages Limited and Pabod Breweries Limited.

“With this listing of 5,301,612,656 ordinary shares, the total issued and fully paid up shares of International Breweries Plc has now increased from 3,294,249,280 to 8,595,861,936 ordinary shares,” the statement signed by Mr Godstime Iwenekhai, Head, Listings Regulation Department at NSE stated.
