STAKEHOLDERS in Yagba Federal constituency of Kogi State have tasked the people of the area to vote for the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in order to engender human and infrastructural development in the area.
According to them, the youths and women of the senatorial district should work tirelessly for the victory of the candidates as they were capable of facilitating the development that the people were yearning for.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, the Kogi West Youth Alliance (KWYA), a coalition of youths from the district, on Wednesday said the adoption of the PDP’s candidates was based on their antecedents.

The spokesperson of the group, Temitope Olufemi, said in Lokoja, the state capital that the candidates in the three local government areas of the federal constituency had been analysed and found capable.
The candidates are Bola Fabola, Yagba federal constituency, Rinde Asagun, Yagba west state constituency, Jones Daniel, Mopamoro state constituency and Emmanuel Bello, Yagba east state constituency.
Olufemi stated that the needs and the demands of the federal constituency were peculiar and could only be guaranteed by lawmakers that have the ability to work with the executive perfectly.
The group noted that the incumbent member of the house of representatives from the Yagba, Sunday Karimi, had adequately represented the area with its efforts at developing the people and the communities noticeable.
He, therefore, urged the people of the area to exercise their franchise on the election days and protect their votes to ensure that they were not short-changed.
