In the context of recent developments in the Central African Republic, on Saturday July 03, a MINUSCA truck struck a motorcycle taxi  on “Avenue de France”, killing two people. It should be mentioned that the truck driver did not stop, but continued his way in a hurry to escape from the situation, according to eyewitnesses. Some residents who witnessed this situation on their bikes soon followed him, hoping to catch the drivers, but unfortunately, they also died. The death toll shows one death and two injuries.

On the spot, the reaction of the population did not take long. A mass of people demonstrated in front of MINUSCA to denounce the crime. “We can no longer tolerate what MINUSCA is doing, it came to kill us, we don’t have a solution to our problems, we are not animals” – are the phrases one can hear in the crowd of demonstrators. These protesters promise more action to be taken against MINUSCA’s blunders to harm and destroy.

This unfortunate news quickly spread to many news sites, the LAFRATERNITE news outlet also added that this was not the first MINUSCA incident in the CAR, it had already committed a similar accident in Amadagaza when it subsequently wanted to give 10 thousand francs to the parents of the deceased. So, what role exactly is MINUSCA playing? The final decision is up to the sovereign people who have suffered the shock.

The Association for the Defense of the Interests of Victims in the Central African Republic issued a statement expressing its discontent with the United Nations mission and the negative role it plays in the Central African Republic. The association denounces crimes of the mission and claims that it must leave the territory of the Republic.
