Comic actor, Samuel Ajibola, popularly referred to as ‘Spiff’ of the TV series ‘The Johnsons’ has been announced as host of the upcoming Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Conference scheduled to hold in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Sunday, May 28, 2017.
The conference, which is organised by the Youth Development Centre and tagged ‘Youth Governance Dialogue’, seeks to revitalize the active participation of young people in governance through peer and youth-adult dialogue. It is an annual one-day program focused on young people; urging them to contribute to the development of the nation through active participation and as well as celebration of the Nigerian Democracy Day which is held May 29 every year.
Speaking on his selection as host, Samuel Ajibola remarked, “I feel honoured. It is quite fulfilling to be a part of something this impactful to the society. This would be an avenue to veer our wheels towards progress, and I am so glad to be the pilot of the affair.”
Samuel Ajibola will also be joined by other high profile guests including the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, H.E Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Peace Advocate and Development consultant, Fatimah Kyari Mohammed, Doctor Eghosa Imaseun, amongst others.
