Speaker Gbajabiamila congratulates Tribune@70, lauds Awolowo’s legacy

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has joined well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate the Nigerian Tribune Newspaper in commemoration of her 70th anniversary, on Saturday.

On the microblogging site, Twitter, Hon Gbajabiamila, applauded the good works of the newspaper and its 70 years of progressive journalism in the country, tweeting that the Nigerian Tribune has served in a challenging and constantly changing environment.

Let me salute and congratulate one of Nigeria’s oldest newspapers, @nigeriantribune as it marks its 70th anniversary. Founded by one of Nigeria’s most illustrious sons, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the paper has continued to serve in a challenging and constantly changing environment,” he tweeted.
