Sovereign Trust Insurance gets applause from Atinuke Cancer Foundation, hosts NCRIB

IN recognition of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc’s support and collaborative partnership, the Atinuke Cancer Foundation has presented an Appreciation Plaque in a demonstration of appreciation to the underwriting firm.

The Plaque’s presentation, signifying appreciation took place at the Corporate Head Office of the Underwriting Firm by the Founder of the Cancer Foundation, Atinuke Lawal, who herself is a cancer survivor.

The insurer also played host to the leadership of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), led by the 22nd President of the Council, Prince Babatunde Oguntade, who paid a courtesy visit to the underwriting firm.

The management said the presentation of the Appreciation Plaque was in appreciation of Sovereign Trust Insurance’s support of the Atinuke Cancer Foundation over the Years.

It noted that Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc has been a collaborative partner of the decade-old Foundation over a couple of years.

Mr Segun Bankole, Head of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc, received the plaque on behalf of his Company.

The NCRIB’s visit was geared towards appreciating the company’s supportive role to the Council in the past year, and over the years as well.

In his remarks, the NCRIB President, Prince Oguntade, congratulated the Management and Staff of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc on the 30-year anniversary of the underwriting firm.

Prince Oguntade lauded the insurance firm’s management for the steady growth that the company has experienced under the leadership of the MD/CEO, Olaotan Soyinka.

He also praised the visionary establishment of the underwriting firm 30 years ago and prayed that the company would continue to soar in the years ahead.

The NCRIB President also called for continued collaboration between the Council and Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc.

He hinted at a project the Council has embarked upon and wanted Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc to be part of.

In response, Olaotan Soyinka, the Managing Director/CEO of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc, thanked the NCRIB President and his delegation for choosing the company worthy of their visit in the new year.

He commended members of the broking community in the country for their support and patronage that the company has enjoyed over the last 30 years and called for more such partnerships in the years ahead.
