Speaking at the 20th Holy Ghost Congress to mark the opening of the one week service in Redemption camp with the theme “Songs of Victory, he said, the three theme word signalled a discerning glorious ending to a year that started on a tough note and victorious times ahead.
Pastor Adeboye in his message “Victory over self-stressed” said, “until Nigerians learn to defeat their fears, they would remain in the same spot, as the first victory over anything, is the victory over oneself.”

Earlier, the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Lagos Chapter, Apostle Alex Bamgbola who gave the first message “God is a Spirit”, said, there is no nation without challenges but no song can be sweeter than the songs of victory in overcoming all problems.
“Nigerians should resist sin and put God first in all things, as most of the challenges faced would be a thing of the past,” he said.
