Song theft allegation: Apologise to me or get sued, 2face tells Blackface

Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2face has finally replied his former Plantashun Boiz band mate, Augustine Ahmedu, also known as Blackface, who has constantly accused 2face and his manager, Efe Omoregbe of song theft.

2face, in a letter wrote through his lawyers, demanded an unreserved apology from Blackface with a caveat that if he fails to do so in the next seven days, he would have no option but to seek redress in court.

The strongly worded letter obtained by R on Friday, demanded that Blacface issues a general unreserved apology in writing for all defamatory statements made and/ or published in the past against 2face.

Reacting to 2face’s threat, Blackface insisted he would not apologise, daring 2face to make good his threat. According to Blackface, “They sent me that letter some days ago asking me to apologise. Rastaman apologises to nobody man. Rasta will never apologise to them because they are filled with evil so they should go to hell. I know my lawyers should have served them by now.”

He added further “What am I apologising for? Somebody takes your music and then you apologise? Is that for real? They are really playing with themselves and I think the manager is putting (2face) in a whole lot of trouble. They don’t even know what they are doing. Let Somebody Love You song should not have been released without my permission because it is my song.”
