Soludo’s three years in office ‘a remarkable one’ — Anambra monarch

The traditional ruler of Nawfia community in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, His Royal Highness (HRH), Igwe Ogochukwu Daniel Obelle (Ezeudo Nawfia), has described the transformation policy of Governor Charles Soludo within a space of three years in office as “a remarkable one”.

He said what the governor is currently and passionately doing across the 179 communities that constitute the state in all sectors of the economy within the three years under review has never happened in the history of the State since its creation on August 27th, 1991.

The monarch gave the commendation at his Palace on Friday while also celebrating his three-year coronation anniversary as the traditional ruler of the Nawfia community.

According to him, the developmental strides of governor Soludo in just three years of his administration is worthy of praise and emulation.

He said, “Governor Soludo’s impactful and transformational leadership in Anambra State in three years is most appreciated by Nawfia community, especially in the areas of rebirth of peace, education, health, agriculture, technology/digital penetration, youth empowerment/skills acquisition, massive infrastructural development, traffic management, administration of justice, enhancement of human rights and dignity of the Igbo man/cultural revival, promotion of security for all and determined fight against insecurity and all forms of criminality bedeviling our society. “Well done, Mr Governor! Nawfia community is solidly behind you “.

Igwe Obelle, equally advised the people of the State to continue with their support to the governor to enable him deliver on his mandate and actualize his vision of making Anambra a destination hub, clean, green, smart, secure, livable and prosperous home in Nigeria.

Speaking further on his coronation anniversary, the traditional ruler, explained that “the celebration was borne out of the desire to thank Almighty God and to show appreciation to the good people of Nawfia for their continued prayers and support to his administration, urging them to sustain the habits for the sake of peace, unity, progress and development of the community.

“It has been years full of temptations and tribulations, but thank God today we are here to celebrate the overcoming of these storms. There were security challenges but we have been able to surmount all of them through the assistance of our hard working governor, Chukwuma Soludo and my cabinet members and a host of patriotic Nawfia citizens.

“In these past three years, Nawfia community under my rulership have witnessed a tremendous transformation in areas of infrastructural development, peace, youths and women empowerment among others, hence,our gathering here today to celebrate the community achievements and developments,” Ezeudo concluded. Prominent Nawfia citizens, including the PG Daniel Okoye and the Onowu chief Ejike Sam Nebedum, were also part of the celebration which was held Friday 14th March after a marathon Igwe-in- council.

The occasion also featured a Thanksgiving Service at the Assemblies of God Church Nawfia.
