Sokoto: Police nab man for impersonating ACP to commit fraud

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command apprehended an individual who impersonated ACP to commit fraud.
The arrest was disclosed by the FPRO via his official X account on Friday, 22nd March, 2024.
The man named Mr Garba Umar, 38, of Sokoto State, was paraded for conspiracy, impersonation, job racketeering, etc.
He impersonated himself as an Assistant Commissioner of Police and duped many unsuspecting Nigerians.
The FPRO advised Nigerians not to fall victim to several imposters claiming to be Police officers
”We will always advise Nigerians against the antics of these criminally minded individuals in this country. Dont be exposed to their dirty games”.
