Sokoto: INEC reacts to APC allegations, describes it as unfounded.

THE Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has reacted to the allegations level against PDP and the commission by the All Progressive Congress, APC in the state on Tuesday, describing it as unfounded and mere insinuating by the party.

Reacting while speaking to journalists concerning the allegations, the INEC Head of Voters Education and Publicity, Mohammed Musa described the allegation as an unfounded and mere insinuation. He reiterated that the said unclaimed PVCs are in safe hand and will not be found in the wrong hands.

“The unclaimed PVCs are intact after the deadline for its collection. I want to reassure you that INEC will never compromise in this regard. The general public should take note of this.” He assured.

He urged all the electorate in the state not to lose confidence in INEC, saying the Commission has put in every necessary modality to ensure that all the eligible voters with valid voters card (PVCs) will cast their votes and will be duly counted.
