Sokoto: Foster unity in your host communities, NYSC DG charges corps members

The Director General of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Brig Gen YD Ahmed, has called on the corps members to be exemplary ambassadors, fostering unity in any society they find themselves.

He made this remark at the closing ceremony of the orientation exercise of 2024 batch A stream2 corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

The Director General, represented by the Sokoto State NYSC Coordinator, Alhaji Usman Yakubu Yaro, gave a stern warning against engaging in criminal activities, and that the corps members should uphold the good reputation of their families and that of NYSC.

“I urge you to sustain the spirit of patriotism, hard work, and resilience, which you imbibed during the Orientation Course,” DG said.
