Sokoto Assembly confirms Tambuwal’s Commissioner nominees

Sokoto state House of Assembly has confirmed Commissioner nominees submitted by the state Governor, Rt Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

The nominees which include the immediate past Secretary to the State Government in the state, Professor Bashir Garba as well as the outgoing Speaker of the State Assembly, Honourable Saliu Maidaji.

The list also includes not less than three women nominees which include Professor Aisha Maidawaki Isa, Honourable Kulu Sifawa as well as Dr Kulu Haruna.

Also on the list is the outgoing member of House of Representatives representing Kebbe/Tambuwal federal constituency, Honourable Abdulsamad Dasuki as well as the Son of the former Governor of the state, Attahiru Bafarawa, Alhaji Sagir Attahiru Bafarawa.

The House which was presided by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Honourable Abu Magaji, during the plenary on Thursday.
