Sokoto ADC candidate assures of qualitative representation

A candidate for Sokoto State House of Assembly, Prince Babatunde Kazeem Ojigi has promised to provide qualitative representation and job opportunities for his constituents, if elected in the forthcoming general election.

Ojigi, while speaking with Journalists in Sokoto in an interview revealed that he planned to introduce legislation that would address the yearning and aspiration of the people.

The Oyo state born politician is seeking to represent Dange-Shuni constituency in the State House of Assembly on the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming general elections.

On his vision for the constituents, Ojigi said he will lobby the House on issues affecting his constituents to their favour, especially in bridging the disparities been faced by members of resident communities in the State.

“Currently, we have issues that are still affecting non-indigenes in the state, such as non-issuing of Certificates of Occupancy (CofO) to non-indigenous landlords, disparities in tuition fees and issue of scholarship to non-indigenous students among others.

“All these will be lobbied by me if given the chance to be elected as the member representing Dange-Shuni constituency in the State House of Assembly by God’s grace.” The ADC candidate assured.

Ojigi further promised to prioritise the issue of human development for the constituents he is seeking to represent, adding that “my empowerment programmes are going to be unique and sustainable based, especially for the youths and women.”

He noted that the State Assembly is crafting for people with intellectual and fresh ideas “like me to help the executive arms of government take the state to a greater height.” He said.

He urged the people of the constituency to come out en masse and secure their votes for his party to emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.
