‘Social clubs should do more CSR’

The Executive Elite 007 club Of Nigeria has charged social clubs in the country not to relent on its oars in discharging one of its fundamentals in complementing the Government’s role at the 10th Year Anniversary in Lagos.

The President of the club, Elite Kunle Omisore expressed that Clubs are known strengthening togetherness and unity among its members though, but of paramount importance is the fact that Government cannot do it alone and hence the need for social clubs to intervene.

He added that the Elite club has contributed to the development and upliftment of the state in various fronts, ranging from visits to motherless babies Homes in a bid to put smiles on the faces of the less privilege.

“The government, in discharging its roles, cannot do it alone. We need to continually give support be it individual or as a group so that the essence of the creation of a state can be adequately justified”.

“Our vision at the club is to improve the economic and social well-being of members, promoting socio-cultural among like minds, regardless of their cultural religious and ethnic affiliations, and to provide the philanthropic gesture to the needy”.

He boasted that the vision of the club has been exemplified in various facets and the zeal to never relent and progress is still intact.

Speaking also, the chairman, committee for the anniversary, Elite Abiodun Fagboye, said that the assertion that serious-minded dreamers need the vision of an eagle, the agility of a cheetah, the determination of a bull and the patience of vulture can yield a good dividend has been ascertained.
