Small Doctor shrugs off arrest drama, promises Lagosians swell time today

Afro pop singer, Small Doctor does not seem to be perturbed by the events of the last few days that led to his arrest by men of the Nigerian Police Force last Monday in the Oshodi area of Lagos State.

The singer was alledged to have threatened to shoot a police officer with a firearm he was possessing illegally, a claim which he later denied saying his arrest was a misunderstanding.

As the singer prepares for his Omo Better music concert, which comes up today at the Agege stadium, the Penalty crooner insisted that nothing would stop him from thrilling his fans when he takes the centre stage.

The concert, which comes as his maiden edition will see top- notch Nigerian musicians take to the stage in succession to entertain their fans in the 10,000 capacity stadium that is expected to be filled to the brim.

Small Doctor, who said he had moved beyond the arrest said he would not want to dwell on what happened on Monday, adding that “those who know me would tell you I would not be involved in acts that could not tarnish my image but that of those who have invested heavily in my career, especially my fans. “

Speaking on what the fans would expect at his concert, Small Doctor, who says he’s an exceptional person maintained that he would not settle for less when it comes to making his fans happy for their love and support over the years.

“My issue with the Police is even a major reason for people to attend my Sunday show. There is no need to panic and we have invested heavily in the security of lives and property. I am a man of the people and I believe I should give back to my society. They have been the one supporting me from the outset. I want them to feel important and happy.”
