A Skye Bank customer, Aminu Buhari, has emerged as the winner of N1 million in the bank’s ongoing promotion.
Buhari emerged the third millionaire in the Skye Bank Millionaire Reward promo Season II, in the third draw held in Sabon gari, Kano, at the weekend.
Along with Buhari, 10 customers won the sum of N100,000 and N50,000 respectively; while 20 other customers won N20,000 each.
In the promotion targeted at traders, artisans, students, businessmen and women in the city, 30 other customers also won other cash and gift prizes such as table top fridge, generator, table top gas cookers, mobile phones, blenders, recharge cards and table top gas cooker, among others.
The promotion, since it began, has produced over 37 millionaires, with 48 customers winning N250,000 with over 120 customers have won N100,000 each plus other household consolation prizes, according to the bank.

Ayodele Olojede, speaking at the event, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to continuously reward its new and existing customers that have imbibed the culture of saving despite these austere times.
“As a bank, we are committed to continually satisfy the needs of our customers as well as empower and encourage a savings culture in them, through schemes like this and provide opportunities for them to establish small businesses with limited capital provided”, she said while commenting on why the bank kicked off the season two of the scheme.
“The scheme focuses on retail banking that is anchored on the premise of building a long lasting relationship with our customers based on trust as well as supporting the financial inclusion drive of the CBN so as to bring a lot more people into the financial system and the formal economy”, Mrs Olojede said.
