Since 94 publishing, a subsidiary of Dapper Group, a company providing essential support for artistes who shape the music industry through securing copyright licenses and managing royalties, and ensuring that artistes, producers, and songwriters are rightfully compensated as their music reaches audiences worldwide, has unveiled Nigerian pop act, Skibii, as their latest signee.
A statement made available to Tribune Online read, “We are thrilled to announce that Skiibii, a veteran artiste who has carved a unique lane in Nigerian music, has signed with S94 Publishing. Known for his contribution to the growth of Afrobeats as a global phenomenon, Skiibii’s impact remains strong. His 2023 remix of the viral hit “Abracadabra” received widespread acclaim, further solidifying his place as a fan favorite in the Afrobeats scene”.
The CEO of Dapper Group, Damilola ‘Dapper’ Akinwunmi was boastful about the deal saying that, “Our relationship with Skiibii has spanned over a decade in various capacities and has been highly successful, which is why a partnership with Since 94 Publishing comes naturally.”
The statement continued, “Joining S94 Publishing’s esteemed roster alongside LAX, Dibs, and Modra, Skiibii embodies our dedication to protecting and promoting African music creators on the global stage.”
Led by Akinwunmi, Dapper Group continues to advance its vision of supporting African artistes through S94 Publishing, enhancing their rights and visibility in the music industry.
