A strong, unique password is your initial defence against unauthorized access. Avoid using easily guessable information like birthdays or common words. Create complex passwords that combine upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters.

2. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA wherever possible. This adds an extra layer of security, and It requires you to provide a secondary authentication method, such as a one-time code from your mobile device, in addition to your password.

3. Keep Software and Systems Updated

Regularly update your operating system, software applications, and antivirus programs. These updates often include security patches that protect against the latest threats.

4. Be Cautious with Personal Information

Avoid oversharing personal information online. Be mindful of what you post on social media and use privacy settings to limit access to your data.
