Skales established the label in 2014 and had previously unveiled another act; his official disc jockey DJ Spicey as a signee of the label.
Afro-pop superstar Skales has unveiled fast-rising singer Santos as the latest signee to his self-owned record label Ohk Entertainment on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
The announcement came as a bitter-sweet Instagram post where Skales expressed his love and belief in the young singer’s talent.
The singer posted a picture featuring Santos and him in front of what appears to be Skales’ Lekki home with the caption, “In a world where the gifted ones often go unnoticed and most times underappreciated, one can only hope to find someone who would believe in you and your set goals.
From day one, I always knew this guy is an epitome of unrivaled talent. He started out like I did; an ambitious guy with nothing but hopes and aspirations. Had no one to give him a listening ear; just to understand how astounding his talent is. Luckily, I discovered him and the rest is history. I want to assure the world this dude is a force to reckon with.
I can’t begin to express the joy my heart abounds as I unveil to the world; Santos, the latest Ohk Entertainment soldier. His debut single would be out tomorrow, people! I can’t wait for y’all to see why I so much believe in his talent. Anticipate! Watch this space.” he concluded.
