Simi, Adekunle Gold keep mum on return to Nigeria

It is over two months now since Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, welcomed their first child as a couple in the US.

While they have both been keeping their fan base active with releases of different music projects despite being away from home, their fans have constantly been asking them to return to Nigeria.

As fans on social media platforms continue to pressure them to find out when they are likely to return home, the singing couple appears to be having a nice time being away from the country.

Days back, the couple released a few seconds clip of themselves playing outside of their residence in the US with their new child as one could easily deduce that they are currently enjoying life away from home.

Questions were asked by fans on Twitter about their possible date of return to Nigeria but Gold, who released a new EP, Afro Pop Volume 1 last week, only replied with “everything is okay”.

Simi, in the video, did not appear to be tired of staying abroad with her baby and husband for now.

As the ban on international flight from the US to Nigeria is yet to be lifted due to the coronavirus pandemic, the couple may have to stay abroad longer than expected.
