Shiroro stakeholders pass vote of confidence in Gov Bago

Stakeholders of Shiroro local government have unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, reaffirming their unwavering support and loyalty to his administration.

The declaration was made during an expanded meeting attended by current and former political office holders, community leaders, party stalwarts, and representatives from youths and women’s groups at Az-Zahra Lodge in Minna.

State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for their support, emphasising the importance of peace, unity, and cohesion in combating insecurity, underdevelopment, and unemployment.

He praised Governor Umaru Bago’s achievements, describing him as a God-sent leader.

Prof. Bashar Nuhu Mohammed, Chairman of the Standing Committee, referred to Governor Umaru Bago as a special friend of Shiroro, deserving the full support of every citizen in the local government.

The committee and the people of Shiroro Local Government Area reaffirmed their commitment and loyalty to the Deputy Governor.

The meeting was marked by an atmosphere of unity and solidarity, with various speakers commending the committee’s foresight and encouraging more gatherings to foster unity, peace, and harmony within the community.
