Shettima bags honourary doctorate degree from UNIMAID

The University of Maiduguri, Borno State, bestowed an Honourary Doctorate Degree of Science upon Vice President Kashim Shettima.

The degree was conferred by the university’s Chancellor and Emir of Lafia in Nasarawa State, Justice Sidi Muhammad (retd.), during the institution’s convocation on Saturday, November 18.

Vice President Shettima was honoured for his significant contributions to various sectors, marking a momentous occasion during the convocation ceremony.

Moreover, preceding the conferral of the honorary degree, the vice president inaugurated the One Billion Naira Abdulsamad Rabiu International Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University.
