She’s shameless, fights everyone in the neighbourhood

Published by

A trader, Alhaji Rasag Oweseni, has stated before Oja Oba/Mapo  Court C Customary Court, Ibadan, Oyo State, that he’s no longer interested in his marriage;; he, therefore prayed the court to dissolve his union to his wife, Shade Arike.

Giving reasons for his decision, Rasag said Shade was troublesome, fights everyone and embarrasses him.

“I got married to my wife a  year ago and instead of experiencing  a blissful union, what I daily face is pain and shame,  Rasag told the court.

“My wife is not bothered that our union is not yet blessed with a child, all she derives pleasure in doing is fight.

“She has no shame; she has fought with all her neighbours in the place I rented for her.

“I receive calls from her landlord and co-tenants  nearly every complaining of her misdeeds.

“On many occasions, I have had to pay medical bills of those she fought with and wounded.

“We have also made regular visits to the police station to write statements or get her bail.

“All these are gradually telling on my health.

“It ’s a big mistake ever getting married  to such a shameless woman. All I pray for is divorce, the plaintiff concluded.

The defendant was absent in court  despite being served a court notice.

The court president, Chief Ademola Odunade, having listened to the plaintiff observed that he was resolute on his request for  divorce.

He thus ordered their marriage dissolved.
