The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Barr Boss Mustapha Gida has empowered about ten thousand women and youths of Adamawa State in collaboration with National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
The empowerment which includes, cosmetology kits, hairdressing equipment, welding and metal fabrication, as well as GSM repairs equipment and some cash donation.
Presenting the empowerment equipments to the beneficiaries at the government house, Barrister Boss Mustapha said about seven hundred and fifty Million Maura has been set aside at the Central Bank and each beneficiary can access up to ten million naira.
The SGF, challenged the beneficiaries to use the equipment for the purpose intended.
According to him, the main reason is to eliminate poverty and promote self-reliance, create wealth, and fight hunger as enshrined in president Buhari administration.

Boss revealed that NDE partnering with him to bring succour to the people of Adamawa state is because of his closeness to his them as grassroots politicians who is so dear to them.
He reminded that APC government is people inclined and the policy of the Party is people oriented to help people stand and secure their livelihood.
The Director-General, National Directorate of employment, Dr Nadir Mohammed Argungu, who commended the SGF for partnering NDE assured the beneficiaries that they would be trained professionally so as to excel in their various fields of human endeavour.
One of the beneficiaries, Abubakar Hosere, who is the state chairman of the physically challenged persons, appreciated the SGF, for his social intervention in alleviating their plight.
