Seun Are cautions derailing gospel artistes

Son of a renowned gospel musician, Seun Are, has expressed his displeasure over the habit of some gospel ministers infusing slangs and songs of secular musicians into gospel.

He cautioned thosel in the category to desist as it was ungodly.

He argued that the industry ought to influence the secular musicians positively.

“I am confused again. Why are the new gospel artistes using words like O Shaprapra in their praise songs? I heard another female gospel artiste sang Kosewe Kosegbo and even Shaku Shaku dance step during a powerful ministration at a crusade. Are these artistes confused? When dabbing came they added it into gospel.

“Why must gospel singers copy worldly singer and their logos. Why can’t they copy your songs, chants and logo, he queried.”
