Serial baby killer, Lucy Letby, gets life imprisonment in UK

Lucy Letby, a 33 year old British nurse, has been sentenced to life imprisonment following the murder of 7 babies and the attempted murder of 6 others in a hospital in the United Kingdom.

Letby took opportunities to harm the babies when her co-workers were on break.

The defendant has been incarcerated for deliberately inducing the deaths of infants during her time as nurse at the Countess of Chester Hospital over the course of 13 months from June 2015 to June 2016.

Among the guilty verdicts, Letby was convicted of six counts of attempted murder, including two involving the same infant.
