Johnson who stated this after obtaining his nomination form at the party’s National Secretariat, in Abuja, noted that the inability of the subsequent representatives to give priority to the welfare of their constituents gave rise to the challenges being experienced in the state.
According to him, his decision to contest as Senator for Ondo Central was borne out of his desire to bring dividend of democracy to the doorsteps of his people with a promise to bring to bear exemplary leadership and ensure that democratic governance prevailed.
He expressed displeasure over poverty, unemployment, educational backwardness and total neglect which, according to him, is the handiwork of lack of purposeful leadership that needed to be corrected.
