Senator Plang condemns renewed attacks in Bokkos

The Chairman Senate Committee on Employment, Labour, and Productivity, who is also the senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District of Plateau State, Senator Diket Plang, has condemned the renewed attacks in the Bokkos local government area of the state and commiserated with the families of the deceased.

Senator Plang, in a statement, said the latest attack was a surprise to the good people of the locality considering the government and the security agencies’ efforts towards lasting peace in the local government and other council areas within the senatorial district.

According to him, the brutal killing of innocent individuals by gunmen in Daffo and Kwatas communities of Bokkos Local Government Area should be investigated to bring the perpetrators of the dastardly act to book.

He implored people of the affected communities to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement to the appropriate authorities, especially the security agencies, to nip any unforeseen situation in the bud.

The Senator equally commended the security agencies for their efforts, dedication, and sacrifice towards enduring and lasting peace in all the troubled parts of the senatorial district and the entire state.

Senator Plang therefore extended his heartfelt sympathies to the families of the deceased and offered prayers for the quick recovery of those who sustained various degrees of injuries in the attack.
