Senator Babangida Hussaini, who represents the Jigawa Northwest senatorial district in Jigawa State, has donated wrappers to 42 widows currently observing a mandatory mourning period of four months and ten days for their husbands, who tragically died in a petroleum explosion in Majiya village.
In addition to the wrappers, the senator also provided each widow with N10,000 to cover tailoring costs for the wrappers.
During the distribution of the wrappers in Majiya village, situated in the Taura Local Government Area, Senator Hussaini expressed that the gesture is intended to offer additional comfort and care to the widows during this difficult time following the loss of their husbands.
The senator, who is also the chairman of the Senate Committee on Northwest Development Commission, represented by Eng. Jazuli Ahmed said “the this senator’s assistance is just a token to you and put a smile in your face during this difficult period.”
