Senator Fadahunsi mourns late President Yar’Adua’s mother

The Chairman Senate Committee on Industry and Senator representing Osun East Senatorial district, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has expressed condolences on the passing of Hajiya Dada, the mother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, who passed away on Monday at the age of 102.

Hajiya Dada, equally the mother of the late Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, had been laid to rest

Senator Fadahunsi, in a statement by his media office, prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and admit her to Jannatul Firdaus.

He also urged Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua and all those she left behind to take solace in the fact that she lived a righteous life dedicated to the service of Allah and humanity.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army and Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, and all other persons she left behind. May Allah give them the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” he said.

“Hajiya Dada was a devout Muslim who dedicated her life to the service of Allah and humanity. May Allah SWT grant Hajiya Jannatul Firdaus.
