THE construction of three Semi Urban Water scheme in the three senatorial districts of Sokoto state would soon be completed.
The project coordinator, Engineer Shehu Mafara stated this while briefing Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who paid an inspection visit to one of the project sites in Gada local government.
Mafara added that all the boreholes and overhead tanks have been completed even as he informed the governor that the project was 90 per cent completed and all the facilities required of the projects are on the ground, including the 250kva generators.

He assured him that the project would be completed in the next two weeks.
The semi-urban water projects was awarded by the Tambuwal led administration in its effort to provide potable drinking water across the state.
The projects are located at Shagari, Tangaza and Gada Local Government Areas.
Tambuwal was accompanied on the visit by the former governor of the state, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, the state deputy governor, Hon Manir Daniya, Speaker of the state house of assembly, Commissioners and State PDP chairman, Alh Ibrahim Milgoma among others.
