Christians have been advised to constantly do self-examination to ascertain whether they are still in the faith or deviated from the path of righteousness.
This was the crux of the sermon at the 24th children anniversary of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Oke-Ife, Agbowo District Headquarters, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Taking the text of the message from the Book of Luke, Chapter 18:8: “Nevertheless when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on earth,” the preacher maintained that there was need for Christians to constantly meditate on this verse so as to retrace their steps wherever they had gone astray.
She said: “The question is, will the Lord find faith on earth when he comes even when some revered men of God engage in embezzlement and corruption, elders fight themselves, church workers backbite and castigate themselves and the brethren murmur.”
She, however, proffered the way out which is “constant self examination, meditating on the word of God and practising them, preaching the gospel and seeking peace with all men.”

In his remarks, the children coordinator, Pastor Samuel Ogungbemi, said the mission of the children department is to train and nurture children to have Christian character and full intimate knowledge of God through Jesus Christ, good leadership skills and academic prowess to empower them to impact their generations positively.

17 members of the children class were admitted into the youth class having been found worthy both in Christian character and ethics of the children department.
