Creative director of Olajiji Cordwainer Couturier (OCC), Olatunji Onafuye, has charged fellow and aspiring fashion designers to cultivate the habit of adopting right measures capable of taking the industry to the next level.

While noting that his good works has opened doors for him, including partnership from foreign investors, such as, Italian designer, who was ready to invest in Made-in-Nigeria products, Olajiji, advised fashion designers to explore their talents as they had the qualities to compete international market.

Olajiji, as popularly called by friends and associates, added that “I began by styling myself and that is because if you have a brand and you really want to push it far, you have to start by flaunting your product in order to attract customers.”

“Aside the fact that I grew up in an environment that one must always dress well, fashion has become a passion for me. I love to look nice and make people look nice as well. But passion is not enough to make one successful; working hard and making all efforts to constantly improve oneself are the essential measures that will determine one’s steady rise in the business. Personally, I am poised to always come out with new initiatives through researches and trendy designs.”
