All does not seem to be going well between veteran actor, Segun Arinze and his daughter, Renny. Arinze, who took to his Instagram account recently to wish his daughter a happy birthday, got ripped literally by Renny, who rebuffed her dad’s wish publicly.
Renny blamed her dad for not calling her personally to wish her happy birthday before coming out on social media to celebrate with her as she turned 20 years old and also corrected Arinze for the wrong pronunciation of her mother’s name.
Arinze’s post read: “Wow! Time sure does fly! My Daughter Renny is 20!! I wish you great wisdom, good health, long life, deep knowledge and whatever you lay your hands on will prosper. You will be a role model to your peers. Ann, God bless you for doing a great job! Happy Birthday Renny.”
In a swift response to her dad, who is said to have six children from four women, Renny said: “What’s the meaning of this sir? You didn’t tag me. You didn’t know my IG handle either. You have tagged other people and bloggers, but you didn’t even have the courtesy to call me to wish me a happy birthday and you are doing this online? What a shame, I will overly appreciate it if you stop doing this. God bless.”
Renny did not stop there, she also added that : “One more thing sir, my mother’s name is spelt Anne not Ann. Stop being the rain on my parade and stop spreading lies.”
Arinze as of the time of writing this story was yet to respond to her daughter’s reaction but those who should know informed R that the matter will be settled amicably.
