Security: NGF in meeting with NSA

THE Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) is in a meeting with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno, at its national secretariat in Abuja.

The meeting, which is at the instance of the NSA, was called to update the governors on the security situation in the country as it heads to elections.

ALSO READ: APC governors absent at campaign council meeting

The NSA is seeking to get the buy-in of the governors in the implementation of security measures for the smooth conduct of the elections.

The security deliberation is the only item on the agenda of the meeting.

A communique is expected to be released at the end of the meeting.
