Sean Dampte announces London live concert, set to release new single

The huge success Sean Dampte recorded at his debut headline event at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island in Lagos on January 6 this year, has sparked his London headline debut also set for this year.

Real names Seun Oluyole, Sean Dampte’s fans in London are now going to watch the “I Dey Consider” crooner live at the Jazz Cafe on stage in London.

In the same vein, the musician will follow up with a new single entitled “For My Head”. His last single, “I Dey Consider” is still rocking night clubs and ruling airwaves in Afrobeat centric countries across the globe including the UK and Canada.

Sean Dampte is currently reported to be on a Media tour in Nairobi, Kenya, Harare, Zimbabwe and even a touch down in Johannesburg, South Africa with his team including Joey Benks, Jomane, Chazy, Wetly and the Don CRUCIFIXTO CEO Tumi Oluyole.

Joey Benks real names Joseph Eferurhobo and Jomane with real names Ralph Ojoma Ugbenyor are part of the Savage Music Ace producers while Eniola Alashi, the group’s spokesperson and Assistant, also known as Chazy are reported to have made up the team on the African Tour.

For ‘My Head’ will be released on May 26, 2023, while the command performance promoted by ALT Entertainment UK managed by Babatunde Adeosun and Savage Music Nigeria UK Limited will take place on September 17, 2023.

The sold out ‘Sean Dampte Live in Concert” early in the year in Lagos, Nigeria has endeared Afro pop fans to ask for an encore, this time in the UK.

The Lagos concert was a great success and featured Rayce, Magnito, Soft and 1da Banton.

A source said logistics is the only thing being fine tuned for now as Sean has decided to thrill his fans to a swell time when the concert eventually holds later in September.

“Sean Dampte doesn’t do things halfway. He wants to organise a top notch show in London as he did in Lagos, so he is trying to put some things in place. What I can tell you authoritatively is that the London show will take place at Jazz Cafe on September 17 this year,” the source said.

Apart from Magnito, Rayce, Soft and 1da Banton, who performed with Dampte in Lagos, a special appearance was made that night by Don Jazzy’s father, Collins Owuneme Ajere Enebeli, to show love to the  UK-based Nigerian musician.

Also, Soundcity, Hip TV, Trace, Silverbird were on ground to provide media support for the act.

Fans of Sean Dampte should look forward to an unforgettable evening of Afro pop music at the Jazz Cafe on September 17, 2023.
