SCOAN: Why the world must listen in 2020, beyond

The year started on a rather unsavoury note both at the local and the foreign scene. It has been one long stretch of the unimaginable and unexpected. While the world began seeing the unpleasant, nothing much would have been surprising should all have listened to catch a glimpse of what the year would look like if we had all looked in the right direction for godly counsel and instruction. For foremost cleric and founder of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua, only God could provide direction for the year. Known for his clear perceptiveness into revealed spiritual truths, which he has demonstrated over the long stretch of his divine calling, Prophet T.B. Joshua, had gotten the 2020 prophecies by December 28, 2019 and later made publish. The prophecies, some of which had begun been fulfilled, provide a spiritual roadmap for the wise. According to him, “This year will be a year of humility. This year, the Lord will humble us with our challenges. Challenges can be affliction, arrogance, pride, wickedness or bad habits. To humble us with these is for those things to destroy us or expose us. Let us move closer to God. Agriculture will help the economy because the economy will have a backlash. People should invest in agriculture. Let us farm to help the economy.

“There will be a common medicine that will cause people to be ‘high’ to die, to commit suicide, to think of what can lead to death. The governments of each nation should watch out and put a check on pharmaceutical drugs that come to their country. America should invest more in agriculture because their economy will be affected. The economy they see today will be affected, so they should invest in agriculture and encourage their farmers. Also, approach to the security issue will affect the candidates and swing voters in the next election. It will be tough in the election. They should pray against a recount. It may be too tight.Let us pray for the Nigerian government to be able to finish this year without an interlude that will cause a situation of for and against. Join me in praying for my nation. Vice President, it is not yet over. Expect much more pressure. The pressure will be so much. I pray you will be able to stand the pressure. We join you in prayer.  Many sicknesses and diseases that leaders have been treating privately will surface this year. They will become bedridden and many will not make it.

“Russia should pray for their leader to avert his being on the sickbed. Something will surface. There is a ladder to go up – if this is averted.  An incident will happen to the nation Iran that will cause panic throughout the world. We are praying to know the mind of God concerning this. Work of God – people will be getting tired this year because the work of God is not by power and might; because of so many challenges, tribulations and burdens they will not be able to bear. United Kingdom – there will be agitation from a section that wants to leave; that will become an issue. Also, pray for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh against going in and out of the hospital; pray for God to give them revival. Pray for unity and understanding among the Royal Family – because of what I am seeing. Brexit needs more time to stand on its feet – with more co-operation of the EU leaders. If not, there will be economic repercussions and the cost of things will become unbearable. With time and preparation, all will be well.”

Just as he revealed, some of the prophecies have started seeing fruition. By January, 2020, the Iran-US conflict received global attention. This was brought after Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani got killed on January 3, 2020, by U.S. drone strike near Baghdad International Airport. Media and some reports called the killing as an assassination.

Again, the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus Outbreak which has started to humble the known world all over.  Starting out as a mysterious disease from Wuhan, China, experts now call the cause of outbreak as Novel Coronavirus. The deadly strain of virus has confirmed 56 deaths. Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Macao, Hong Kong, France, and the United States have confirmed people infected with the new virus. The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared it as global health emergency.

It will also be recalled that within the royal family in the United Kingdom, things began to fall apart. Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, made a shocking announcement, effectively resigning from their duties within the British Royal Family. This is true to the prophecy. According to Harry and Meghan, “we intend to step back as senior members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America. This will provide us with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.”

Still on the royal family, it will be recalled that Prophet Joshua had asked for prayers for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh against going in and out of the hospital. On January 23, 2020, it was reported that the Queen was forced to miss a planned meeting at her local Women’s Institute (WI) as she was ill. The 93-year-old pulled out of her annual meeting with the group in Norfolk. Her Majesty joined the Sandringham branch of the WI in 1943 when she was still Princess Elizabeth, and attended each year as part of her winter stay on the estate. When Prophet T.B. Joshua talked about people getting tired of the work of God, many Christians in Nigeria got saddened at the murder of one of the prominent leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria who was killed by Boko Haram terrorists after a huge ransom was demanded. Indeed, while the world looks on, it is instructive to note that adherence to divine instructions not only fosters cosmic balance, it equally guarantees and attracts divine blessings. If there was any time the world needed to take heed to God’s instruction, it is now.
