Anger, frustration, uncertainty and a bleakness that transcends human comprehension have remained the highlights since the commencement of the current year, 2020. The world has witnessed a most horrendous convolution. From the ravaging coronavirus pandemic, the dwindling oil prices at the international scene, the global economic recession, the searing emotional emptiness, lack of enthusiasm and fellow-feeling, to the dehumanising state of global gloominess, there seems to be much to be desired. While the world is at the end of its tether, there has been a constant voice of hope, warning and truth. Before the advent of the coronavirus pandemic, the world had been warned that it would be humbled in this year. The leading voice has been none other than that of the senior cleric of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T. B. Joshua.
In his prophecy for the year 2020 and beyond, he had warned, inter alia, that “This year will be a year of humility. This year, the Lord will humble us with our challenges. Challenges can be affliction, arrogance, pride, wickedness or bad habits. To humble us with these is for those things to destroy us or expose us. Let us move closer to God. Agriculture will help the economy because the economy will have a backlash. People should invest in agriculture. Let us farm to help the economy.
““Russia should pray for their leader to avert his being on the sickbed. Something will surface. There is a ladder to go up – if this is averted. An incident will happen to the nation Iran that will cause panic throughout the world. We are praying to know the mind of God concerning this.
“Work of God – people will be getting tired this year because the work of God is not by power and might; because of so many challenges, tribulations and burdens they will not be able to bear.
“United Kingdom – there will be agitation from a section that wants to leave; that will become an issue. Also, pray for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh against going in and out of the hospital; pray for God to give them revival. Pray for unity and understanding among the Royal Family – because of what I am seeing. Brexit needs more time to stand on its feet – with more co-operation of the EU leaders. If not, there will be economic repercussions and the cost of things will become unbearable. With time and preparation, all will be well.”
For the United States of America in particular, he warned late last year as he revealed God’s mind for 2020 that “America should invest more in agriculture because their economy will be affected. The economy they see today will be affected, so they should invest in agriculture and encourage their farmers. Also, approach to the security issue will affect the candidates and swing voters in the next election. It will be tough in the election. They should pray against a recount. It may be too tight.”
Sadly few months later, particularly in May, the social cohesion of the United States was tested, threatening the security fabric of the entire country. Prophet Joshua a few days back sent a fresh message to the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
The content of the message touches on the current security situation in the USA and the coming presidential election. Prophet Joshua entitled the message he shared during his live Sunday sermon, ‘My message to President Donald Trump on security issues,’ recalling that he had prophesied what is happening currently happening in the US during his prophecy for 2020.
Following the killing of George Floyd, Americans, most of the black race took to the streets over police brutality with several US states activating National Guard troops. The cleric said that a similar situation would occur again and warned that it could affect the coming election.
According to him, “During my prophecy for 2020 released on 28th December 2019, prophecy number four concerning America was given as follows: ‘Approach to the security issue will affect the candidates and swing voters in the next election.
“President Trump, this is what is happening now. Another one is coming. President Trump, wake up to checkmate this. It will go beyond this. Another one is coming, starting from the ending of June.”
The cleric noted that the people perish where there is no vision, pointing out that during Trump’s regime, the name of Jesus has been given more honour.
“What glory! Let us look beyond our palace for God’s authority. With God, all things are possible! Let us act now.
“It is not all up to God; we have a role to play. More appeals to the people and security are required – in a language that will douse the tension and stop this situation – so we can then commit the future one into God’s hands,” he said. It is hoped that President Trump and the larger global stage would take heed to these warnings, just as the popular saying goes that God does not leave himself without a witness and the Almighty God speaks through his servant, the wise listen.
While the world watches on, it is incumbent on all to be circumspect as we all expect a global healing to the myriad of problems afflicting it.
