Savage Xtra: A Trailblazer with Global Ambitions

Uche Barry Nwachukwu, known professionally as Savage Xtra, is making waves in the music industry. Born on May 29th to the royal family of Umuezeala and Umueze, Savage Xtra has carved out a niche for himself as a music executive and songwriter.

The young artist, who attended Michael Okpara University, has been making headlines with his recent accomplishments. Having just concluded his second festival, Savage Xtra reflects on the success of the event, which he views as a way of giving back to his community. Despite his growing popularity, Savage Xtra remains humble, expressing that awards are not his primary focus, although he acknowledges that they may come in due time.

Looking ahead, Savage Xtra has ambitious plans for his career. With an upcoming album titled “Young, Blessed, and Dangerous (YBD),” he aims to continue dropping hits and embark on world tours, particularly in Europe and the UK. His recent tour in East Africa was met with enthusiasm from industry leaders, further solidifying his global appeal.

Despite facing financial challenges as an independent artist, Savage Xtra remains resilient, drawing on his past experiences to navigate the industry’s ups and downs. He credits his family, particularly his father, as his biggest supporters and role models, guiding him through life’s challenges.

Under his label, Alta Confianza, which means “high confidence” in Spanish, Savage Xtra fosters a diverse roster of talent, including artists like Hybrid and Damascus. Savage’s breakthrough song, “Left And Right,” holds a special place in his heart, alongside other hits like “Blessings.”

With over 1 million streams across platforms and a track record of sold-out shows, Savage Xtra continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic performances and prolific catalog. As he sets his sights on new horizons, Savage Xtra remains a force to be reckoned with in the Afrobeat genre, inspiring fans around the world with his music and unwavering dedication.
