Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara on Wednesday joined the meeting of governors elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
Also at the meeting was the National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus and the presidential running mate of the party in last February’s election, Peter Obi.
The meeting hosted by the Chairman of PDP Governors Forum and Governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo was expected to deliberate on various issues including the new leadership of the National Assembly and the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
Other governors present at the meeting include Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto) and Governor-Elect of Imo state, Emeka Ihedioha.
