Represented by the  Special Adviser to Lagos State Government on Housing, Barr. Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, the governor highlighted several key initiatives, including the Lagos Rent-to-Own Programme and Home Ownership Mortgage Schemes (HOMS), which aims to provide affordable housing for the residents.

The special adviser emphasised the ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure, such as the Lagos Blue Line Rail, as well as tax incentives that support special economic zones like the Lekki Free Trade Zone.

“Furthermore, regulatory bodies such as the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) and Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) are working to ensure that real estate development in Lagos is both sustainable and investor-friendly,” she said.

During the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Purple Group, Mr. Laide Agboola, was honoured with the prestigious “Real Man of the Year Award”.
