Former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode
LAGOS State governor, Mr Akinwumi Ambode, has stated that his opponent in tomorrow’s governorship primaries, Mr Jide Sanwo-Olu is not fit to govern the State.
Ambode, answering a question after he addressed a world press conference on the primaries coming up tomorrow, said that Sanwo-Olu, because of his “past”, is not a fit and proper candidate for the position of Lagos State Governor.

He thereafter said he would not step down as being requested by some leaders in the State but declared that he was ready for the primaries.
