LAGOS State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu; chairman of All Progressives Congress, Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; Iyaloja General, Chief (Mrs) Folasade Tinubu Ojo, and a host of other dignitaries will grace the anniversary of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Agbala Itusile anniversary, Meiran, Lagos State.
According to the pastor-in-charge, Pastor David Alamu, the event, which will feature the celebration of Christ over the victory and peaceful reign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will also be graced by chairman Agbado Oke Odo Local Government, Oladapo Famuyiwa, Honourable Tajudeen Shittu; Chief Musiliyu Akinsanya (Oluomo).
He also noted that Pastor Dr Emmanuel Fakeye (JP) would be the guest minister, while veteran gospel minister, Lady Evangelist (Dr) Dunni Olarewaju (aka Opelope Anointing) would minister in songs.
The 2-in-1 event will be held on May 26 at the church auditorium.
Pastor Alamu told Tribune Church News that the much-anticipated event will be a gathering to exalt God’s faithfulness and love for the progress of Nigeria.
“It is worthy to note that God had previously revealed to me about the victory of our president earlier before the last presidential election. The revelation was made known to the general public through publications in the national dailies. Our church and the entire congregation embarked on prayer and fasting programmes towards the victory of our president, which eventually came to pass.
“We seek the face of God for the peaceful reign of President Tinubu and God answered too. We are aware of the challenges, but the nation is overcoming them. We are not relenting in our prayers and we are confident that God will take permanent control over the affairs of the nation as President Tinubu will lead Nigerians to the Promise Land,” he said.
“The anniversary is centered on celebrating God in all ramifications. This is why we want to appreciate God specially at this year’s anniversary. We look forward to a fruitful and well-accepted thanksgiving anniversary that will ignite God for a great turnaround for the nation,” he added.
