LAGOS State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy Obafemi Hamzat, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Mudashiru Obasa, and Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi will be among the dignitaries attending the first anniversary of Melody 107.7FM, established by popular cleric, Prophet Sam Ojo Adebayo.
In a statement from the management of the broadcasting station, signed by Kunle Babarinde, the celebration is scheduled for December 7 at Mulero, Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos.
Prophet Ojo, who is also the founder of the Freedom Apostolic Revival International Ministry (FARIM) and the well-known prayer mountain in Ibadan, Oyo State, will empower widows and present scholarships to students and others at the event.
Other dignitaries to grace the event include, Assistant Inspector General Of Police (Zone 2), Lagos State, Adegoke Fayoade; Chairman Orile-Agege LCDA, Johnson Babatunde; Lagos State Commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso; Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola; Commandant Lagos NSCDC, Adedotun Keshinro; Alaige of Orile-Agege, Oba Ambaliu Hakeem Agbedeyi; Olu of Agege, Oba Kamila Oyedeji Isiba.
Prophet Sam Ojo said, “We thank God that Melody FM is celebrating its first anniversary. It has been a wonderful journey and we are grateful that Melody FM is now one of the best radio stations in Lagos state under one year.
“A lot of activities are lined up for the anniversary and we are empowering many people to support the Lagos State government and the Federal Government. It’s going to be a fun-filled event,” he added.
