Sanwo-Olu hails Tribunal verdict, says it’s victory for all

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commended the judiciary and the judges who sat on the State 2023 Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and ruled in his favour, declaring his victory as one for all.

 

Governor Sanwo-Olu said this in his reaction while addressing newsmen at the State House, Alausa, Ikeja.

 

He commended and thanked the judges for giving a well detailed verdict, expressing joy that the judgment was giving in his favour and his deputy, Dr. Kadir Obafemi Hamzat.

 

The governor, while commending the judiciary for the efforts, however, called on the opposition candidates of Labour Party, Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and Dr. Abdulaziz Olajide Adediran (Jandor) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join hands with his administration, in order for them to contribute their quotas to the development of the state.

 

Governor Sanwo-Olu, who noted that it was “a long though election,” equally called on Lagosians for support and cooperate with his administration, saying that his victory was call for more work to be done for them irrespective of party affiliations, religion, tribe or status.
