Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, has stated that four new emirates created by his administration have come stay.
Ganduje, while speaking during the Workers’Day celebration at Sani Abacha stadium, said God will protect the new emirates from all evils.
The Governor said this in reaction to a viral video where former Governor of the state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, disclosed that the incoming administration will revisit the dethronement of former Kano Emir, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and the creation of new Emirates.
“I want to assure you that these emirates are permanent, they have come to stay. And anybody that will destroy them, God Almighty will not bring him to Kano state. We assure you that these emirates were created because of you, because of your progress.
“Even if we are not in government, we are praying and we will keep praying for God to protect these emirates from all evils. I thank you all,” Ganduje said.
“We must deny these groups the undue publicity they crave,” the minister said.
