From all indications, Juju act, Ojo Idowu, popularly known as Santana, is enjoying a steady career following the success of his latest album.
The Ekiti State-born artiste recently came out with his latest work entitled: Son of Mercy in collaboration with a Fuji musician, Adebisi Taye, popularly known as Currency.
In an effort to give back to his fans as well as celebrate his success in the industry, Santana has commenced plans to celebrate his 15 years anniversary on stage in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The artiste told R that a committee including media professionals, event planners and stakeholders has been set up to plan the event billed to hold later in the year.
“I am excited with the grace and the success I have enjoyed over the years in the music industry. Honestly, it has not been easy, but God’s grace has been sufficient. It is a different thing to carve a niche for oneself in the industry and it is another thing to be widely accepted. My journey in the industry has been interesting and I have every reason to celebrate my 15 years on stage, especially with my fans.
“I am optimistic about the anniversary and plans have commenced to stage the event. I trust God that the event will be a remarkable one. The event is going to be a three-in-one and I am hopeful that it will be a success. I will launch my album, be conferred with a chieftaincy title and mark my 15 years anniversary.
“Plans are ongoing. However, the event is also open for sponsorship, as some corporate bodies and personalities have begun to show interest to support and partner with us for the success of the event,” he added.
